“Sometimes” is the second single off the forthcoming “7182313” album by Detroit rap veteran, Hush, and Queens newcomer, Bobby J From Rockaway.
Standing in stark contrast to their energetic first offering, “People,” featuring Jack White’s go-to drum virtuoso, Daru Jones, “Sometimes” has a more laid-back, lo-fi aesthetic. This time, it’s Hush who takes the driver’s seat on the verse while Bobby provides the melodic, stripped-down hook. The song focuses on Hush’s personal experience cutting his teeth on Detroit’s vibrant 90s underground Hip-Hop scene while producer DL Jones provides the hypnotic backdrop.
“7182313” is slated for an early summer release and features a litany of artists - both OG’s and newcomers - from NYC and Detroit.
