Uber Magnetic is more than impressionistic prog rap sloganeering or dense reference-heavy intellectual wild style with a strong conceptual bent, it's a lifestyle choice. Certified Santa Clara indie hip-hop legend Roughneck Jihad and South Wales Jurassic Coast MC Junior Disprol first put it down in 2007 with Boffin's choice, Tefal Head. Further collaborations highlighted their complimentary styles and healthy appetite to fuck each other up on the mic. Uber Magnetic was inevitable.
The two share the similarities and differences they experienced while continents apart. Outsiders, quality substances, unifying theories, wrong neighborhoods, philosophical exchanges, love and hate and everything in between. The listener is guaranteed the razor-sharp wit and powerful delivery expected from these consummate bartenders.
Cool Edit Chud's production was the natural starting point; both a catalyst to get it started and the special ingredient to bring it all together. Featuring the turntablist triumvirate of DJ Jaffa, Krash Slaughta and Sir Beans O.B.E., released on the Plague label and mastered by Irn Mnky, Uber Magnetic quickly created a transatlantic hip-hop masterpiece.
