This has been a challenging time for DANGERVEIN...the sudden death of our leader and creative engine Mario 'Blacmav' Blocker in July '22 was devastating on so many fronts...the creative process has been hard to get back on track...we've only really started working on new material in any sort of rhythm in the last 6 months or so...this particular song is from the stash of stuff we were considering for the next album just before Mav passed away.... it was an experimental track that came together like most of our songs do..we're all into the matrix and while i wrote my verse and hook years ago it still holds up..beast was his usual efficient self and sun just added his verse a week or so ago..we're pushing ahead with a new album called "AfterMav"..a proper overdue homage to the man who made it all happen..we'll hit you with another single next week for new years....thanks so much..GIT SOME
