Here we go again! Rochester hip-hop duo Young Black And Gifted has announced a new LP due out next week. Set to drop on 1/5/24, Once Again Its On is now available for pre-order on Bandcamp. Those who pre-order will immediately receive a digital download of the latest single from the project "Day Ones".
This will be the first new LP from the duo of emcee Azariah and producer Kidd Called Quest since 2020's The Second Coming. Speaking about the new LP, Kidd revealed that it is "made up of some tracks that we've had in the bag for a minute. It definitely has a different feel than The Second Coming, which was more deliberate. Everything came out more hard-hitting and raw like our first album, Long Time Coming (2013)."
In addition to their work on Young Black And Gifted, both artists have had a busy 2023, including Azariah and producer Laddie's latest collaborative project, Phase III Blessed And Highly Favored. Kidd Called Quest has released a number of singles for artists such as Curtis Coke and Jae Hussle, as well as an EP with St. Paul MN emcee Ken-C and an upcoming project with Buffalo's Pretty Bulli.
