This one is for Dave (Trugoy) from De La Soul and DMX. These two MCs have influenced my style over the years. When I finished this beat, I said to myself, "yo...this reminds me of mid 90's De La. " I sat on the track for a couple of years. Sent it out to people. They didn't pick it. Eventually I decided that I was going to body this beat along with all the other beats that I thought were dope, but nobody picked it. I hope you feel this track as much as I do.
