2024 has been a very productive year for Nyark Music so far. Back in January we released the various artists EP 'Audio Couture', followed by the great Hazz & Airklipz collaboration EP 'High Living' in February. In March we dropped the label's first album release 'Iceberg Mandalorian' by Wild Samson, a debut album that really put Nyark on the rap map. Now it's April and we're back with another banging release from South London wordsmith Aiklipz alongside the talented Midas Cash on the buttons. A match made in heaven, this duo of hard working hip hop heads join forces for a release we know you will cherish. This is Airklipz's third EP for Nyark and he is already working on an EP with London rapper GOLD, who is featured on this release, as well as working on his first album for Nyark. He is one of the most consistent artists in the game and is such an asset to any label, that's why we are so proud to unleash some 'Reel Music' on the world.
Recorded at Airklipz's studio The Vape Lounge, 'Reel Music' is a six track EP that deserves your attention. Midas Cash is no stranger to working with Nyark artists and his previous contributions to projects by Wild Samson and Hazz have been amazing. Together they smash their way through so many different vibes and emotions, giving the listener something to really absorb. Left For Dead' tells it like it is, raw rhymes over a deep head nodding groove before the only feature track 'Evans' sees GOLD go hard with Kilpz on a double tempo vibe. Japanese Rolex" sees some clever flow changes and world play on a tripped out beat, while the anthemic "Klipz & Midas" goes more militant on a horn led banger. The Only One" sees a different Klipz as he goes deep before wrapping up the project with the funkified "All I Eva Wanted". This is such a well-rounded EP, and this is Klipz & Midas, yes, simply put, this is 'Reel Music'.
