Mystery Channel EP by Killah Priest

Killah Priest's Mystery Channel EP is his first release on 600 Block Records after his acclaimed features on Pugs Atomz's Test Drive LP in 2022. The EP, which will be released on Good Friday (March 29th) as a limited edition CD via BSOM, features two original productions by Bryan Ford/Tusk57, an amazing remix by Tall Black Guy Productions, and instrumentals on all three tracks.
Written and produced by Bryan Ford. Bryan Ford, who is a multi-genre producer, composer, and instrumentalist on guitar, bass, keys, and drums, honed his compositional and production skills over a 20+ year career as a behind-the-scenes electronic musician, releasing music as himself, Lake Street Project, B. Ford, Terry Swank, Tusk57, and various collaborations. He's produced for and collaborated with artists as diverse as Killah Priest, Pugs Atomz, Grammy-nominated jazz trombonist Marshall Gilkes, Pseudo Slang, MC Tree, J Boogie, Family Tree, Glenn Underground, Roy Davis Jr., Stacy Kidd, Andre Harris, Chicago Afrobeat Project and Meg Lee Chin of Pigface.
Tall Black Guy's remix of Mystery Channel is a soulful, jazzy take on the EP's namesake, bringing his signature style to his first collaboration with 600 Block Records. From humble origins in Detroit, raised on a healthy diet of Motown, jazz and early hip-hop... Tall Black Guy has become a standard bearer for the current hip-hop beats scene. Through a steady stream of productions filled with incredibly clever sample flips and deft production chops, he has won fans all over the world, including Gilles Peterson, Lefto, Jazzy Jeff, Questlove and countless others.
The cover art for Killah Priest's Mystery Channel EP was illustrated by Jiba Mole Anderson, the famed graphic novelist who created The Horsemen and other black graphic literature. He has been recognized by the Smithsonian National Museum of African Art, the School of the Art Institute of Chicago, GQ Magazine, and the New York Times.
