Emerging from the bourgeoning hip-hop scene in Bristol, Wish Master cues up a new collaborative album with Farma G for Tricky’s False Idols label, bringing along an all-star cast of UK MCs for the ride.
With a supporting cast that that includes Sonnyjim, Datkid, Eddie Kaine, Gaza Glock, Da Regiment and 1Jack, the ‘No CPR’ album finds Wish Master in full lyrical flow, backed up with some serious dusted beats and production chops from Task Force founder and member Farma G.
Having previously released albums on his Official Recordings imprint, ‘No CPR’ lands on False Idols, the label run and curated by fellow Bristolian Tricky, establishing a lineage between artists and generations that allows music and new talent to flourish. Across eight tracks, Wish Master throws down contemporary rhymes, sparring with transatlantic guest performances representing Brooklyn (Eddie Kaine), Bristol (Datkid) to Birmingham (Sonnyjim) and beyond. ‘No CPR’ presents a modern and fresh collection of British hip-hop from some of the scene’s rising stars.
