Based in Northampton, UK, DJ & producer Mark Ski is one of the founding members of the local scene, working regularly with some of Hip-Hop's finest national and international artists as both DJ and producer.
His critically acclaimed debut LP 'Catch-REC' gained regular spins from legends including DJ Premier & DJ Eclipse, gaining accolades from respected outlets such as Insomniac Magazine & UGHH and blessings from Pete Rock and Bobbitto Garcia. Since then Mark has been busy with a number of instrumental EP releases. whilst playing at venues and festivals up and down the UK as DJ and with his MC FFSYTHO?! For his sophomore LP Mark has created eleven new joints blending his love of classic Hip-Hop with contemporary beats & cuts, delivered by a stellar lineup of underground Hip-Hop heroes from both sides of the Atlantic.
'RECLESS' takes you on a Hip-Hop ride,with a crew of Hip-Hop's finest featuring Booda French, FFSYTHO?!, Four Elements and Beyond, Guilty Simpson, Homeboy Sandman, H3RO, Jake Palumbo, Katiah One, Nutso, Rasheed Chappell, Robb P, SoSoon & Tony Dimes. The well received two singles “Back In The Day” featuring Rasheed Chappell and “Dry Sockets” featuring Jake Palumbo have already given heads a taste of what to expect from this eagerly anticipated LP, already gaining coverage from the likes of DJ Boba Fatt, Ear Milk and The Allergies. From the opening cinematic Boom Bap of 'Go For Mine' to the Fast Rap flows of the closing title track, each collab showcases a different style of Mark's diverse production, embracing everything from classic Hip-Hop, Future Boom Bap, Jazz, Lo-Fi, hardcore NY Rap, Deep Funk & RnB, that is 'RECLESS' in name, but wreckless in nature.
