Contreforts by L'1consolable

 

After "Sauvage" and "Féral", L'1consolable continues his musical escape with "Contreforts", a sylvan and mountainous album, intimate and political. "It's disturbing to feel, through what we write and compose, what a territory does to us - or what it does to us -". Based on the western foothills of the Vercors for a little over two years, the music that L'1consolable produces there lets us hear what has been transformed in him by the immediate proximity of the mountains and forests and the multiple beings that populate them. New ways of writing and composing are emerging: the forest grows everywhere, takes root in words, nestles in the language itself.
