Nec Nymbl has done it again with this one-man-army single he has created.
On this single off his upcoming album, Nec came with a hardcore, rugged, action packed approach filled with intense energy, lot's of multisyllabic word-play, dope flow change ups, melodic rhyming and a revolutionary eye-opening message with deep conscious raps. He touched on a lot of subjects that even other "truth spitter" mc's don't want to touch. He definitely slams hard with bars that are not easily accepted by the politically correct and super-sensitive.
He spits two verses with a dope chorus he mixed in containing a rap phrase from Cormega's "Killaz Theme" that says "Mega poetic, rhymes are like dimes but no credit, I'll leave your mind paralyzed, dunn, but don't wet it" , over an instrumental he composed.
The instrumental is grimey, dark, eerie and unique, with rugged boom bap drums that knock hard and nasty swingin' percussion.
As soon as those strings hit, with the Cormega Phrase, you can tell your in for something huge as the intensity builds up and you're hooked into the solid message being relayed. The mood is serious from the first second and has you in hardcore/warrior mode till the end.
Nec Nymbl, a bilingual mc and true artiste, has showcased his multi-talented, and diverse styles once again in this track "Paralyzed Minds" he not only composed-produced, wrote & performed/rapped etc., but also recorded, mixed & mastered in his Studio @selahbitsounds
