One of the fascinating aspects of being an A&R or executive producer is having unique insight into what an album was, is, and could have been. In 2005, Dreddy contributed significantly to the Black Market Militia (BMM) album, where he was credited for co-production, arrangement, sequencing, direction, and A&R.
Black Market Militia, a hip-hop supergroup that emerged in the mid-2000s, consists of members deeply connected to the Wu-Tang Clan and the East Coast underground scene, including Killah Priest, Tragedy Khadafi, Timbo King, Hell Razah, and William Cooper.
Think Differently Music is now releasing a BMM street tape featuring alternate versions, bonus tracks, exclusives, and songs that didn’t make the original album. Will there be a second installment of this project? Only time will tell. Until then feast on these exclusives.
